Have you gone to see Beauty and the Beast in the theaters yet?

I went tonight by myself.

I usually go to the movies with my husband, but there are limits to what I’ll put him through. He grew up with a lot of sisters and has an unusual form of PTSD. It’s from having been exposed to The Sound of Music too many times in his youth. As a result, it’s an unspoken agreement that I don’t ask him to watch musicals. EVER.

One of my favorite parts from the new Beauty and the Beast movie is when Belle is telling her father that she needs to help the beast due to the mob of villagers.

Her father warns, “It’s dangerous.”

I share advice for entrepreneurs, but I focus on helping entrepreneurs strengthen their relationships with their customers and improve their marketing. But today I’d like to talk about the technical hurdles we face in growing our business.

For those of you who don’t know, I spent almost 20 years working in IT. Admittedly, I was always a bit of a hybrid and not a true IT geek. I got into IT after returning from volunteering overseas and got a temp job at a mid-sized company. I convinced the IT manager that I could do computer programming and had to get a book on the subject that night and learn very quickly.
