I went tonight by myself.

I usually go to the movies with my husband, but there are limits to what I’ll put him through. He grew up with a lot of sisters and has an unusual form of PTSD. It’s from having been exposed to The Sound of Music too many times in his youth. As a result, it’s an unspoken agreement that I don’t ask him to watch musicals. EVER.

One of my favorite parts from the new Beauty and the Beast movie is when Belle is telling her father that she needs to help the beast due to the mob of villagers.

Her father warns, “It’s dangerous.”
